Definitely the best looking B-car out there, this coming here for the 2010 model year as of latest reports, it was recently shown at the Detroit auto show and in Geneva last month. The interior is on par with cars costing 3 times as much. No real set in stone specs on the powertrains for the U.S. Some think it will get a version of the Rocam engine, but I’m thinking it’s more likely to get a 1.4-1.6L version of the Duratec 4 cylinder maybe with a ecoboost version, we’ll see.

I think this thing is pretty cool looking in a futuristic type of way, and it’s got a lot more room inside than the Crown Vics they’ve been using forever now, plus it gets much better gas mileage.

Check out these pics..

The only thing it needs is a diesel or a hybrid, although that could come a few years down the road..

The show starts tomorrow the 21st. There are some interesting cars being unveiled, hopefully I can get things running around here by the weekend as I’m changing themes and updating my site. I’m having a lot of trouble with my theme, looking for something easier to make changes to that is also cleaner looking, any feedback on sites with quality Wordpress themes would be appreciated.

I’ve been wanting to post these, I spotted this in Laguna Beach driving into Newport Beach Ca, it was this amazing looking pearl white metallic over a deep blue. Never thought I’d spot one on the road, especially with a unique color combo like this, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this thing the first time. Pictures do not do this car justice, it’s truly a rolling work of art, one that has 1001 horsepower, and can do 254mph!

More than 1,000 remember O.C. hot rod legend at service in La Habra.

LA HABRA – More than 1,000 people gathered Wednesday to say goodbye to hot rod legend Boyd Coddington with a little flair – just like he led his life.

The service was reverent and sincere, a traditional Catholic Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He died Feb. 27 at age 63.

Most wore suits, but many of those closest to Coddington wore bold-print shirts, a tribute to the hot-rod builder’s signature style.

The casket, much like Coddington’s cars, is sleek and artsy with its lacquered black paint accented with electric green, purple and orange, and bearing the Boyd Coddington insignia.

The somberness of the Mass was followed by a colorful reception.

Friends and family milled around Coddington’s La Habra garage. Four of his favorite hot rods sat prominently on the showroom floor.

The last car Coddington built, “French Connection,” and the hot rod that has graced the cover of USA Today, “Aluma-Coupe,” were among those displayed.

“I miss our breakfasts,” longtime friend Tim Keeler said, standing near the banana-yellow coupe. “We had breakfast every week.”

Keeler said although Coddington was the most famous builder in the industry, his death would bring about legendary status.

“I can see from the showing today that Boyd Coddington is not going anywhere,” he said. “He is just getting stronger.”

Coddington was known as the king of hot rods, made famous by his artful design and master technique.

His cable-television show, “American Hot Rod,” gave him icon status.

Coddington grew up in Rupert, Idaho, and from a very young age dreamed of designing custom cars. He burst onto the hot-rod scene in 1982 with his restoration of a 1933 coupe.

He stacked up many awards for his work and in 1997 was inducted into the hot rod hall of fame.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Yahoo Inc (YHOO.O) and media conglomerate Time Warner Inc (TWX.N) have stepped up talks to create an alternative to Microsoft Corp’s (MSFT.O) offer to take over the Web company, the Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday citing people familiar with the matter.

The paper reported that the talks center on a deal that would fold Time Warner’s AOL Internet unit into Yahoo, according to the people, who still consider a Yahoo purchase by Microsoft as the most likely outcome.

Last month Microsoft made a $41 billion offer to buy Yahoo, which was rejected as undervaluing the business.
